I have to say that I really love it. It's the perfect size to carry around and the battery life is amazing. I'm averaging around 6 hours battery life. The only problem I have is with the Shift keys. It seems you have to really press them down hard to get a capital letter, which is annoying when typing lots of documents. I haven't noticed any other problems.

The battery life advertised is 6+ hours but I have only gotten about 4.5hours out of it once fully charged. Also, the speakers are on the bottom of the netbook so it makes it hard to hear and if you move the computer the speakers' output gets garbled. Despite these issues, I LOVE my netbook.

As others have mentioned, the sound quality is poor and external speakers of some type are almost essential if music is to be played. (I'm thinking of the Logitech Z305 unit that connects to a USB port.)
I haven't used the system long enough to get a feel for battery life, but 6+ hours seems likely.
There is quite a bit of "bloatware" on the system, and even if you want to USE some of those programs (for example, Windows Live Photo Gallery) keep in mind that the supplied versions are NOT the most up-to-date. In other words, you will need to uninstall the supplied programs & download/reinstall any ones that you really want!
One strange "quirk": If I close the cover the system goes to SLEEP as expected, but any movement causes the system to WAKE UP! I assume this has to do with the HDD protection system, but it would seem that... Read more
